Justice Center Named for Judge Mills

The Cherokee County Justice Center will bear a new name: The Frank C. Mills III Justice Center. The Canton building, which houses court services for Cherokee County has been named after retiring Superior Court Judge Mills, who has served on the bench since 1981. The proclamation issued at the Dec. 18 Cherokee County Board of Commissioners meeting states Mills is being honored for his “lifetime of outstanding service to the law and the community.”
