At its business meeting on July 30, 2014, the Council of Superior Court Judges approved proposed amendments to Uniform Superior Court Rules 5, 21, 24, 31, 36, 39, and 46, and to the protective order forms.

UPDATE – On September 4, 2014, the Supreme Court approved amendments to the protective orders as well as Uniform Rules 24.2 and 24.10, subject to further consideration and amendment in response to any comments received after the “first reading” notice, to bring the rules and forms into compliance with O.C.G.A. § 9-11-7.1. The effective date of the amendments is September 18, 2014.
