Cynthia C. Adams was sworn in as a Superior Court Judge on February 13, 2017 by Gov. Nathan Deal.
Judge Adams will serve in the Douglas Judicial Circuit, filling a vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Robert J. James.
Judge Adams previously served as Judge Pro Tempore in the Douglas County Juvenile Court as a s a solo practitioner at the Law Office of Cynthia C. Adams. She earned her undergraduate degree from Oakwood College and her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law.
