On January 14th, 2015, Alison T. Burleson and Brenda H. Trammell were sworn in as Superior Court Judges by Governor Nathan Deal.
Judge Burleson will serve in the Ocmulgee Circuit, filling a vacancy created by the late Judge James Cline. Judge Burleson received her B.A. from Agnes T. Scott College and her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. She previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit and as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University.
Judge Trammell will also serve in the Ocmulgee Judicial circuit, filling a vacancy created by the retiring of Judge Hulane George. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Tift College and her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. Prior to taking office, Judge Trammell served as a sole practitioner of Brenda Holbert Trammell, Attorney at Law.
