Glen A. Cheney sworn in as Superior Court Judge

On Monday, February 15th, 2016, Glen A. Cheney was sworn is as a superior court judge by Gov. Nathan Deal. He will serve in the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, filling a vacancy created when former judge David Cavender retired.

Cheney has an extensive background in civil and criminal litigation, and he has also served as a municipal court judge in Collins, GA. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and his law degree from John Marshall Law School. Judge Cheney will bring over 36 years of experience to the bench.

He and his wife, Marilyn, reside in Reidsville, GA.
