Kathryn L. Powers Sworn In As Superior Court Judge

On January 4th, 2018, Governor Deal administered the oath of office to Kathryn L. Powers. Judge Powers previously served on the state court of Clayton County, but was appointed to fill a vacancy on the superior court bench, created by retiring Chief Judge Albert Collier.

Judge Powers earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and her law degree from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law.

Judge Powers and her spouse reside in Jonesboro.
